Two Mount Pleasant golfing standouts and a Saginaw Country Club superintendent comprise the 2023 Michigan Golf Hall of Fame class. Jerry Faubel, superintendent at Saginaw Country Club for more than 35 years and a national turfgrass expert, heads the trio, which also includes former PGA player Doug LaBelle and Mount Pleasant legend Jean Murray. They will join the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame on Oct. 29 at Ferris State University's Katke Golf Club, which houses the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame. Their inductions bring the number of Hall of Famers to 137.
