Mid Michigan College , in partnership with Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, Central Michigan University, Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture & Lifeways, and 7th Generation, is privileged to host, and offer to the community, an event focused on honoring the past, present, and futures of Native peoples and celebrating the cultural contributions of Native peoples. The event is taking place on the Mid Michigan College Mt. Pleasant Campus 10am-2pm Monday, October 9 in the Community Room, and will feature several special guests including Melissa Isaac, Nathan Isaac, leaders of several Michigan Tribes, and federal, state, and local representatives.
